I'd kill for a 61 or 88 key NKS keyboard with a ton of knobs, faders, and buttons. I expect something like that might start at $1,500 for a 61-key controller, and honestly, not sure how big the market would be for that due to the price. They could market it as a dedicated NKS controller for Massive X (or Massive X in hardware form) that also happens to map to your other synths and effects via NKS. If NI could combine a synth-like layout (8 faders for 2 ADSR's, a few sections of 4 or more knobs to represent oscs, another section of a few knobs to represent filters, another for LFO's) with NKS, I'd be all in. I still think hardware synths currently make the best tactile controllers. I guess I am most frustrated because I am desperate for what this product could've been.I'm in the same boat. It seems well implemented and well built and the NKS format seems awesome but only having 8 knobs (and no sliders) on the top of the line model is just so weird to me. I mean the whole point of this thing is hands on control over soft synths and effects. You've got all that space on the front panel so WHY ARE THERE ONLY 8 KNOBS!?
